St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina dropped his appeal of a one-game suspension choosing to serve it against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday afternoon.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo and Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina both received a one-game suspension . Lovullo's suspension will be served tonight. Molina elected to file an appeal. Thus, the discipline issued will be held in abeyance until the process is complete.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said he "can't blame" Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina for being upset with the profanity that Lovullo used while arguing about Molina's pitch framing.

Apparently, Greg Holland could have used a couple weeks of spring training. He was a hot mess in his first appearance for the Cardinals, walking four batters in the top of the 10th while recording just one out, with many of his pitches not close to the plate. The Cardinals had tied the game in the bottom of the ninth, so this game is far from over.

The Brewers jumped over Miles Mikolas for two runs in the top of the second inning while the Cardinals have hurt themselves on the bases, with Dexter Fowler and Marcell Ozuna both leading off innings with hits only to get thrown out trying to stretch those hits into a double and triple.
