LSU lands nation's top RB recruit Emery

John Emery, the No. 14-ranked prospect in the class of 2019 and top-ranked running back, committed to in-state LSU on Tuesday night.

LSU landed a commitment from ESPN 300 running back John Emery on Tuesday. Emery is the No. 14 ranked prospect overall in the 2019 class and the No. 2 ranked prospect in the state of Louisiana. The 5-foot-11, 202-pound back had been committed to Georgia, but decommitted in October and is now committed to the Tigers.

Tua Tagovailoa threw two touchdown passes and ran 44 yards for a score in his toughest test this season, Alabama's defense stifled No. 4 LSU, and the top-ranked Crimson Tide remained unbeaten with a 29-0 victory Saturday night.
